Briefly tell us who Alex Muiruri is and what he does? 

Alex Muiruri is an introvert, minimalist, and cat person who loves to write and code. He has created a few themes for WordPress (including this one) using some templates from bootstrapmade.com.

He’s been a freelance writer for over 4 years now, and he likes to research new business ideas he can invest into.

What did you do before you became a writer? 

I tried writing for clients in college, but that didn’t work as expected. You can read about that hilarious story here.

After college, I started a small retail store with some money I’d saved. I later decided to get a stable job, teaching a nearby primary school where I worked for 2 years.

That’s where I got my breakthrough in writing and decided to pursue freelance writing again.

What did you aspire to become in life, except for writing? 

I’ve always I’d always admired big novel writers like J.K. Rowling and David Baldacci. I love mystery stories, and I thought I’d become that one day. I guess I’m still working on that.

When I joined college, I had a general interest in software and electrical engineering since I’d Aced all my Physics tests in high school. Where do you see yourself in 15 years? 

I have some tech businesses ideas I’d like to start, and singe the internet is growing fast, I think my dream is viable.

Do you consider yourself a problem solver? 

Yes. In my writing experience, I’ve helped many clients solve marketing and functionality problems on their social media, website, and the backend.

I like to research a client’s entire marketing funnel to understand their marketing positioning better before trying to find a solution for them.
